4G VoLTE Enabled Panasonic P85 and Eluga Ray Launched At 6,499 INR and 7,499 INR

Panasonic added another entry-level smartphone, the P85, to its affordable android portfolio. The new Panasonic P85 costs 6,499 INR and comes with a 4000mAh battery. The P85 will retail exclusively on Flipkart.

With the display measuring 5-inches diagonally (720p HD resolution), this does qualify as a compact phone. It’s powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage – a fairly standard configuration for the price. The phone also accepts microSD storage up to 64GB at the expense of second SIM card.

Other notable features include an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Android Marshmallow based software, 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Besides P85, Panasonic also launched Eluga Ray that’s integrated with its new Arbo smart assistant and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core chip paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated with the front home button. The Eluga Ray too includes a 4000mAh battery, apart from a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. The handset has been priced at 7,499 INR.
