One unique feature that OnePlus talked about at the OnePlus 5T India launch event was Quick Pay, a Samsung Pay alternative that is secured via fingerprint sensor and can be used to directly make Paytm Payments without waking up the phone.

With OnePlus Quick pay, all you have to do is press the home button using a finger that you have registered for the fingerprint scanner and you’ll be instantly directed to Paytm payment page where you can scan the merchant QR code or enter payee’s phone number. This is how you can turn on QuickPay on OnePlus 5T.

Before you start, make sure you have Paytm app installed and signed in.

Step 1: Go to Settings >> Security and Fingerprint

Step 2: Tap on Quick pay option listed after fingerprint list

Step 3: You can now choose if you want QuickPay to work with Screen On, Screen Off or both.

Step 4: That’s it. You are done.

If you still don’t get how this works, you will also find a short video demonstration on the Quick pay page in the settings.

Besides Paytm, Quick pay also has options for WeChat and Alipay payments (visible only if you have respective apps installed), but these services are exclusive to China as of now. The OnePlus 5T also supports Android Pay that is expected to go official in India before the end of this year.
