Asus has updated its popular Zenfone Selfie to keep drawing in selfie lovers on a budget. The new variant of the selfie-centric smartphone (ZD551KL) features an improved aesthetics over the existing model. However, the hardware specifications remain same. The Asus Zenfone Selfie ZD551KL has been priced at Rs. 12,999 and is already available on Amazon.in.

Asus takes inspiration from its very own Zenfone Deluxe while re-designing the back cover. The new variant comes with diamond cut textured rear surface, while the fascia remains more or less the same.
What lies within?
The new Zenfone Selfie houses a 5.5-inch TFT display with 1920 x1080p resolution. Under the hood, it sports a Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, Adreno 405GPU and 3 gigs of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, and you can also add another 128GB of secondary microSD card storage.
On the optics front, it comes with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 wide aperture, a dual tone flash, and a selfie Panorama mode. The front camera also comes with a macro photography feature which lets users capture objects as close as 6 cm. At the back, it bears a 13MP rear camera with a f/2.0-aperture, auto- laser focus lens and a dual-color real tone flash.

Zenfone Selfie will be available in Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, Polygon-Illusion Diamond White, Illusion Polygon Blue, and Illusion Smooth Pink. It will be available exclusively at Amazon India and at brick-and-mortar stores across the length and breadth of the country.
