Like OnePlus 5, its successor is made available in 8GB option apart from regular 6GB RAM variant. the biggest difference between the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T is display. The later one boasts a new edge to edge 18:9 display with full HD+ resolution. OnePlus has also upgraded the rear camera and now it comes with 16MP +20MP dual cameras with f/1.7 aperture for both lenses.

OnePlus has also introduced face unlock feature which uses selfie camera to recognise and unlock the device. As per the company, it maps more than 100 facial points to identify a user. Other innards remain the same.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Special Edition (quick review) is another phone that boasts as much as 8GB of RAM. The especiality of the phone is its 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS display (2160 x 1080 pixel) with 18:9 aspect ratio.

On the hardware front, it is gunned with a Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU. Xioami is offering the Mi Mix 2 in 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options but later one is currently only available in China.

Razer Phone

Razer is predominantly known for gaming devices but recently it announced its first smartphone. Following its philosophy, Razer is pitching its smartphone as a gaming phone. The phone houses a 5.72-inch Quad HD display with 120 Hz refresh rate.

In terms of innards, the phone boasts a Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery. The Razer Phone will be running on a stock version of Android Nougat. The phone comes with dual camera setup of 12MP + 13MP sensors. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera of aperture f/2.0.

OnePlus – a that uses never settle as its moto has just launched its 2017 flagship killer in – the OnePlus 5. It is slimmest OnePlus smartphone ever and also touted for its-its dual optics setup at the back. The phone sports a dual camera setup with a combination of 16MP f/1.7 + 20MP f/2.6 sensors. OnePlus 5 (first impression) specs-wise, is nothing short of a power house. Asus Zenfone AR

Asus unveiled Zenfone AR at the consumer electronic show earlier this year. Asus India has announced that it will soon land in India. It is world’s first smartphone to support both Google’s Daydream virtual reality and Tango augmented reality. The title of World’s first Smartphone with 8GB RAM also lays with Zenfone AR. Apart from 8GB RAM, it packs Snapdragon 821 processor which has been optimized for Tango. It boasts off a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD display, 256GB Internal storage, 3300mAh battery and Android Nougat out-of-the-box.

ZTE Nubia Z17

ZTE sub-brand Nubia recently has been on a launch spree off-late. A few weeks ago, it went official with Nubia Z17. Specs-wise, it is right up there on the list. It sources Qualcomm’s most advanced processor – Snapdragon 835 and coupled it with 8GB RAM. It houses a 5.5-inch full HD display. It comes with a dual rear camera setup (23MP +12MP with f/1.8 aperture) a 3,200mAh battery, Quick Charge 4.0 and a built-in sub-woofer.

Nokia 9

Nokia 9 has been part of various rumors in recent times. The expected phone is rumored to featuring futuristic specifications under the hood. If the buzz on the street is true, the much anticipated Nokia smartphone could be featuring Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM. In optics section, it could flaunt 13MP dual camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video.
