This Mark 5D series has always been known for its still and video capabilities and with the new 30MP Dual Pixel AF sensor, the Japanese manufacturer aims to further refine photography experience.

Under the Canon 5D Mark IV hood, it employs a brand new 30.4 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-32000 along with Canon’s Digic 6+ image processor. This is also the first Canon full frame camera to feature Dual Pixel technology.

There are 61 AF points including 41 cross-type. Canon has paid heeds to industry demands and added 4K video recording support at 30 frames per second. In Mark VI, the Dual Pixel AF performs for both stills and videos in Live View mode. It gets a slight improvement in shooting speed too, now it can shoot at 7 frames per second as compared to 6 on the Mark III.

There hasn’t been any change in display size as it gets a 3.2-inch LCD display same as its predecessor. Canon has bumped up display’s resolution to 1.62 million dots and the display is also touch-sensitive, which lets users tap-to-focus, to pinch-and-zoom and interact with their camera in an efficient manner.
