LeEco (formally known as LeTv) has been the word buzzing in the tech circles this week with all sorts of associated speculation and rumors. Now, all those rumors can rest in peace as LeEco has unwrapped its new ‘superphones’ in India. Let’s talk about the new LeEco flagship – Le Max2 – which debuts at an astonishingly aggressive price.

The base variant of Le Max2 is priced at Rs. 22,999. With its compelling specs and features, Le Max2 is likely to compete with the likes of compatriot Xiaomi Mi 5 and upcoming Oneplus 3. Here are answers to some frequently asked user queries related to LeEco Le Max2.

Answer: Thankfully LeEco has chosen to opt for a smaller display size with the second generation Max. The phone now has a more manageable form factor. Like the Le 2, it also features a full metal body with two antenna strips running around the back. The Le Max2 has curved edges to ensure handy grip. The camera is slightly protruded out of the body which was also the case in the original Le Max. Overall, in comparison to earlier Le Max, it has become more compact, more manageable, and feels better.

One thing which is missing in Le Max2 is the 3.5mm audio jack. LeEco has bid adieu to 3.5mm pothole and has embraced its proprietary CDLA technology which uses USB Type –C port to deliver high-quality lossless audio.

Answer: Build quality of Le Max2 feels excellent. The phablet-sized smartphone weighs 185 grams which is not much considering its large display size.

Answer: The Le Max2 is a beast powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset i.e Snapdragon 820 coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM. The phone handles all the day-to-day task efficiently. There is no lag whatsoever. Benchmark scores also tell the same story.

Answer: We haven’t witnessed any heating issues with our unit so far.

Answer: At the time of first boot, we got 2.8GB of RAM free out of 4GB on our device.

Answer: It appears as if LeEco has worked hard on its camera. In comparison to the first generation Le Max, photo quality in Le Max 2 feels much improved. Images are much sharper, color tones are more natural, and dynamic range has also improved.

i had a lemax 2. its good. but i see the pixels on the videos that took by slowmo mood. not like 720p. is it normal?
