Gionee S10 Lite has now been officially introduced in India. Like most other Gionee phones, the S10 Lite will primarily target offline buyers. Compared to online alternatives available, the S10 Lite doesn’t have much to show up for its mid-range price tag. Talking points include a front fingerprint sensor, 4GB RAM, and a 16MP selfie camera.

Gionee S10 Lite Features

The handset is powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon 427 quad-core chipset, which is basically a higher clocked variant of Snapdragon 425 (one that we usually see on phones priced around 5K). The mobile platform is paired with 4GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The S10 Lite accepts up to 128GB of secondary storage, but the SD card slot is a hybrid one. The 5.2-inch display on the phone has 720p HD resolution.

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The rear camera has a 13MP sensor with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.

Other features include 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and 3100mAh battery.

Gionee S10 Lite Price and Availability

The Gionee S10 lite has been priced at Rs. 15,999 and will be available across offline retail outlets in India starting from December 23 onwards. Overall, the Gionee S10 Lite is a very standard phone with nothing that particularly stands out. Considering the hardware used, It does feel overpriced.
