HMD Global, who holds the right to manufacture and sell Nokia phones, has planned an event in China, on October 19. Although the invitation didn’t reveal much, yet an alleged new Nokia 8 variant or maybe a new ‘Nokia 7’ seems to in the pipeline.

A teaser on Nokia’s exclusive TMall online store has strengthened the probability of HMD global presenting the all new Nokia 7. It was quite clear from the word “qi” on the teaser, which translates to Number 7 in Chinese. Yet, there is a possibility that it could be a new Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the one which was recently launched in Europe.

Nokia 7 Features and Specifications

A Gif from Nokia’s online store hinted a possibility of Bothie feature on the new Nokia 7. The phone may inherit the feature from its elder sibling Nokia 8 that divides the viewfinder into two halves to shoot images from both the front and back camera, simultaneously.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the Nokia 7 could come in three storage variants. One being the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant,  and the other two with 4GB RAM/32GB Storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, respectively.

Apart from this, all the Nokia 7 variants could be powered by Snapdragon 630 and are likely to support the Nokia OZO Audio. The phone will run on customised Android in China but, if the imminent Nokia 7 is introduced in India, it will run on Stock-Android.

As of now, we have limited information about the HMD’s Global China event on October 19th event. We have to wait for the event to make the things clear, here.
