HMD Global sent out invites for possible Nokia 7 launch event on October 19

2017 has been a stepping stone HMD Global who so far as it launched Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and Nokia 8 (quick review) globally. Now, the company wants to end the year on a high with a launch of another smartphone. The Finland based company has started rolling out press invites for an October 19 launch event. As of now, it is not clear what’s Nokia is planning to unveil at the upcoming event but if we go by the speculations it could very well turn out to be the Nokia 7. Some rumours suggest a possible Nokia 8 6GB RAM variant launch. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

Recently Nokia teased an image with the word ‘Qi’, which means ‘seven’ in the Chinese suggesting upcoming phone might be new Nokia 7. Same teaser post carries “A new Nokia device coming in 3 days” written in Chinese which further indicates towards a possible Nokia 7 launch.

In another teaser post, Nokia is highlighting Bothie feature which as of now only available on Nokia 8. There are two possibilities: firstly, Nokia could launch Nokia 8 6GB RAM variant which is yet to launch in China. The second possibility is that Nokia 7 also comes with Bothie feature.

To recall, the Nokia 8 is one of the most premium smartphones in the market packed with a 5.3-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB RAM, stock Android Nougat and a 3,090mAh battery. Nokia 7, on the other hand, seems to be a mid-range offering which will plug the gap between budget Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. What Nokia actually has in store well to find out you will have to wait until October 19, so stay tuned.
