How to buy iPhone 8 for Discounted Price of Rs. 18,788?
To start with, the iPhone 8 comes with an attached offer of Rs. 10000 cashback on buying the smartphone with a Citibank debit or credit card. This way your iPhone 8 price will be slashed to Rs 54,000 from the actual company’s cost of Rs 64,000 for the iPhone 8 64GB variant.
Further, Reliance Jio has partnered with iPhone, to provide the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with some Jio offer.
The Jio offer does an ‘effective saving’ of another Rs. 44,800. However, to get the Jio offer’s benefit, you will have to use the Jio sim on iPhone (for at least a year) and recharge with company’s Rs 799 per month. This means the yearly cost of Rs 9,588. After applying maths and doing some calculation of all these offers, the net value of Apple iPhone 8 is going to be Rs. 18,788.
Also, to be a beneficiary of this offer you will have to buy the iPhone 8 either from Reliance Jio outlets or from Amazon India website and later register on their phone on MyJio app to get the cashback.
Jio’s 70% Buyback Offer for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
Apart from the Jio offer, Reliance Jio is also offering a 70% cashback offer with every purchase of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. To claim this offer all you need to do is use the purchased iPhone for a year with Jio Sim Card and My Jio app, and return the handset to the outlet after that.
Here’s how the cashback will work – if you purchase the iPhone 8 Plus, 256GB variant, for its full price, i.e., Rs.86,000 the buyback will be calculated at Rs.75,680. From this – Rs.75,680 – the 12% tax amount will be deducted as it is not entitled to cashback, and for the remaining – Rs 65,360 – will be given to you in the form of a voucher that can be used to upgrade to the next iPhone or purchase goods at the Reliance Digital store.
*The voucher will be valid for six months only
