Currently basking in the glory of toppling the very best in the telecom industry, there seems to be no stopping the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. News has emerged that the company’s broadband services, called JioFiber, is soon to hit ground zero and would start its operations from the city of Mumbai.

Some users in the maximum city have also reported the presence of the broadband’s ‘preview offer’ on the company’s website (www.jio.com).

JioFiber’s preview offer works in the same manner as it was offered to the Jio users in first three months. However, it seems to have been restricted to a few localities as of now (but things do appear promising).

By the looks of it, the company has put on offer a plan with 100Mbps speed as well as a 100GB FUP cap a month. After the 100GB limit, the speed would reduce to a meager 1Mbps (far too less?).

However, one of the most notable features on the line herein is the Jio Fiber preview offer, which provides the users who sign up, with the service at absolutely zero cost.

Reminiscent of the Jio Preview Offer which (most of us are still using) there will be no cost incurred for a time period of three months.

However, a one-time payment of Rs. 4,500 will be required to be made before availing the service, which would get refunded at the end of the three-month period.

Primarily Mumbai-exclusive, the service would gradually be rolled out to fellow metropolitan cities of Delhi and Chennai, too.

In addition to JioFiber, the company is also working on its own DTH services (something about which we told you earlier, too). Well, that’s a story for some other day, but, if you are interested in JioFiber, we advise you to watch this space.
