Answer: The Lenovo K8 Plus design isn’t too far off from the recently launched K8 Note (review). The usage of material, placement of keys, and sensor are identical to the elder sibling. But yes, this one is smaller, which also makes it more manageable.

The phone has a metal back with plastic trimming on the top and bottom. The phone front is dominated by a 5.2-inch display which the customary 2.5D curved glass protection (Gorilla Glass 3). And there are substantial bezels both above and beneath the display

The keys on the either sides offer good tactile feedback. The vertical dual camera setup (except LED flash), fingerprint sensor, and Lenovo branding all are symmetrically aligned.

Overall, the K8 Plus design won’t blow your mind away but it’s quite ergonomic and functional and abides by the modern standards.

Each time we clicked a photo with this device, it took an extra second to click and capture. Having said that, the images we took with the K8 Plus camera turned out very well, especially considering the price tag. It’s one of the best phone cameras you can get in this budget. The dual camera mode also feels like an improvement over K8 Note.

It’s sturdy built, compact size, light and fast software, decent primary rear camera, long-lasting battery and multimedia enhancements like Theatermax and Dolby Atmos all make it a near-complete multimedia device. All in all, the K8 Power is the worthy successor to the K6 Power. And the base 3GB RAM variant feels like a really sweet deal at 8,999 INR.
