Meizu has brought out its latest offering, called the m5s, in its home ground China. The m5 successor features an all metal body and comes out in two variants depending upon the storage capacity.
Coming to the specifications, the phone sports a 5.2-inch HD display protected by a 2.5D curved glass on top. Powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3 gigs of RAM, the m5s packs in the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Flyme 6.0 OS and is available in a 16GB ROM as well as a 32GB ROM variant.
As far the optics of the phone are concerned, there is a 13MP camera on the back with features including a dual-tone LED flash, a 5P lens, a Sony sensor and wide f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there is a 5MP shooter that has f/2.0 aperture optics.

Also, the m5s features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in its home button. Meizu calls this the mTouch button intended to allow the user to unlock it under 0.2 seconds.
Both the variants of the phone intended primarily for the Chinese market have been priced at RMB 799 (~Rs 7,790) for the 16GB one and RMB 999 (~Rs 9,730) for the 32GB one.
