After unveiling its Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 smartphones in December last year, Indian consumer electronics company Micromax looks all set to bring their successors, namely the Vdeo 3 and Vdeo 4 this year. Both the phones are already listed on its official website.

Just like their predecessors, both the phones support VoLTE and feature a metal back, something which has been associated with the Vdeo series ever since it came out.

Both the phones will reportedly feature a 5-inch screen and come replete with the Google Duo video calling app out of box along with a Jio SIM card bundled along.

The Vdeo 4 would be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will feature an in-built storage space of 8GB, expandable to a maximum of 32GB, along with a 1GB RAM.

Coming to the camera front, the Vdeo 4 seemingly features an 8MP rear camera along with a 2GB selfie cam.

While little has been let out as far as the Vdeo 3 is concerned, it is expected to be more or less similar to the Vdeo4, the difference being the processor used and the size of the battery.

The Vdeo 3 supposedly packs a 3050mAH battery as opposed to Vdeo 4’s 4000 mAh one and is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A-53 processor rather than the 1.1 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor that the Vdeo 4 runs on.

The company is yet to announce the release date for the two phones but if the ongoing rumors are anything to go by, they are set to come out in the coming week.
