Moto C Plus is now official in India for 6,999 INR. Unlike the Moto C, which Lenovo will be pushing in offline markets, the C Plus will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Pearl White, Fine Gold and Starry Black colors.

Contrary to what the plus moniker might suggest, the Moto C Plus is a 5-inch display phone (720p HD resolution). And since it belongs to most affordable Moto series, the hardware on the phone is pretty basic.

It’s powered by a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6753 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (also accepts up to 32GB of SD card storage). The software, however, is based on Android Nougat and that certainly counts as a ‘plus’ point.

The LED flash on the front might make the selfie enthusiasts on a budget turn their heads, but then, the basic 2MP camera with f/2.8 aperture optics doesn’t inspire much confidence. On the rear, the Moto C Plus has an 8MP shooter with standard f/2.2 aperture.

Probably the highlight of the phone is its 4000mAh battery that also supports fast charging.

Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.

Needless to say, this will be up against the base Redmi 4 variant.
