Motorola Expected To Build Three Smartphones With 2K Display

Motorola has reportedly been working a few new smartphones which can be expected to hit the markets later this year. Having launched some great smartphones like Motorola Droid Turbo, Moto G and Moto E, Motorola is no less than any other big name in the smartphone industry. Motorola is now a Lenovo owned venture which was earlier acquired by Google for a short while before it was handed over to the renowned computer brand, Lenovo. As per the leaks, three new smartphones can be expected from Motorola this year, as we already know about the third generation Moto X being prepped.

A user on Reddit has posted a detailed tabulation of the expected upcoming smartphones by Motorola as you can see in this blog post. Though the smartphone names are not cued about yet, but the model numbers of the expected newbies from Motorola are XT 1578, XT 1585 and XT 192A. All the three smartphones will run on the latest Android Lollipop 5.1 OS platform and will possess a true HD display. The most appealing headline about these expected smartphones is their display which will be an HD display with a whopping pixel density of 556 ppi. The display will be a 2K ready QHD display which, speaking of Motorola, has been incorporated only in Motorola Droid Turbo till date.

While XT 192A and XT 1585 will boast a 2K display with a screen resolution of 2368×1440 pixels with a dpi value of 640, XT 1575 will pack a 2K display with a dpi value of 560 and a screen resolution of 2392×1400 pixels. XT 1578 and XT 1585 will run on Lollipop 5.1.1 platform, while XT 192A will come with Lollipop 5.1.0 out of the box. All the phones will features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, and no other technical specification or design detail is known yet.
