Design

To begin with, we have Nokia 6. The fact that it has been carved out from a single block of Aluminum makes it a far more premium than its budget price tag would suggest. The phone has a 2.5D glass on top, and sports flat edges with sharp corners. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the front.

On the other hand, LG Q6 comes clad in a metal unibody with minimal bezels. The sleek and sleek design of LG Q6 makes it totally comfortable to touch, use, and hold. The flat display surface and well-optimized bezel reduce accidental touches, frequent with curved displays.

Just like the LG Q6, Lenovo K8 Note also comes in an all-metallic body, with a 2.5D glass on top and round edges. The fingerprint scanner can be spotted at the back of the phone, K8 Note also adds a dedicated button for music playback on the left edge of the phone.

Display

All the three smartphones – K8 Note, Nokia 6 and Q6, comes in a 5.5-inch display size, but each screen varies in its resolution.

Starting from the LG Q6, the phone is the first smartphone in the mid-range category to sport an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The screen of the phone runs end to end thus, giving a wide screen space that makes it a good choice for gaming, video playback, and browsing.

Whereas On Lenovo K8 and Nokia 6, we have a 5.5-inch full-HD display – certainly not as fancy as the display on LG Q6, but still good enough to do the job.

Performance

How attractive a smartphone may look from the outside, it is the performance that matters to all classes of users.

As a matter of fact, all three devices will run on Android Nougat out of the box. The Nokia 6 and K8 Note adhere to near stock interface and will appeal to the minimalist, while the LG Q6 is loaded with proprietary customizations that should bode well with consumers who appreciated trinkets that manufacturers add to enhance Android experience.

The Lenovo K8 Note employs a Deca-core Media Helios X23 processor SoC, making it the first smartphone to feature an X23 processor in India. The processor is supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable to up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In LG Q6, we have a Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage.

In context to this, the Nokia 6 holds a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz, and an integrated Adreno 505 GPU. The inclusion of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage makes quite a difference to the day-to-day performance of the phone.

Which one is better? On paper, K8 Note has a mightier chipset. At the same time Nokia 6 has well optimized software and feels extremely snappy. The LG Q6 should be fine option for basic users as well.
