OnePlus has announced an exchange/buyback programme for its flagship phone OnePlus 5T (Review) in India. The Chinese brand has partnered with Cashify for the offer and customers can avail it from OnePlus’ official site.

Under the aforementioned programme, users can exchange their old handset for the new OnePlus 5T at a discounted price. The offer is, however, limited to selected pin codes and selected smartphone brands. A similar exchange offer for OnePlus 5T is also functional on the Amazon India website.
How to avail OnePlus 5T Buyback offer?
In order to participate in the OnePlus Buyback Programme, you have to be in any one of the following cities: Ahmedabad, Agra, Bangalore, Bhopal, Baroda, Vadodara, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gandhinagar, Gurgaon, Howrah, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Jalandhar, Kanpur, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mohali, Mumbai, Noida, Nagpur, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Puducherry, Panchkula, Surat, and Thane.
And own the following smartphone brands: Apple, Asus, BlackBerry, Gionee, Google, HTC, Huawei, Intex, Karbonn, Lenovo, LeEco, LG, Xiaomi, Micromax, Motorola, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Vivo, Xolo, and Oppo.

If you have fulfilled these criteria visit the company’s official website and click on the OnePlus Buyback programme. Now, select Start Buyback on the top right corner of the page. In the follow-up screen, enter your city, select the smartphone you want to exchange and explain its condition.
Check the buyback details on the page and proceed with the purchase of the new OnePlus 5T with full payment. Once the payment is successful, the phone will be delivered to you first and then, the Cashify team will pick your old phone and pay you the buyback cash. The cashback will depend on the condition of your exchanged handset upon inspection (which means it could be lesser than the quoted price).
The offer is applicable for all OnePlus 5T color variants launched in India. These include the Lava Red, Midnight Black (6GB/8GB), and Star War edition.
