Sony Xperia XZ1 Specification and Features

The Sony Xperia XZ1 comes clad in Sony’s signature boxy design. The face of the device is loaded with 5.2-inch Triluminous full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, surrounded by thick bezels and protected by Gorilla Corning Glass 5, whereas the rear panel is sleek and sports just the back camera and Xperia branding.

Under the hood, the Sony’s flagship device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor well integrated with Adreno 540 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can further be expandable to up to 256GB via SD card. The phone extracts its power from non-renewable 2700mAh fast-charging battery.

In optics, the Xperia XZ1 comes with a MotionEye 19MP Exmor RS sensor with 3D scanning feature, at the back. The rear camera also supports 5-axis stabilization and is capable of shooting slow-motion video recording at 960fps, a feature inherited from Xperia XZ Premium.

The connectivity options in the Xperia XZ1 comprise 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS among others. The fingerprint scanner is embedded under the power button, placed on the right edge of the phone.
