Finally, Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 is docking on Indian shores. Microsoft is planning to officially launch its Surface Pro 4 in India on 7 January in national capital.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on his last visit announced that Surface Pro 4 will be coming to India in January. Surface Pro 4 will be the first Microsoft tablet to officially launch in India.
The Surface Pro 4 is a laptop- tablet hybrid, designed for productivity oriented usage. Productivity and tablet used in a same sentence always involves a keyboard attachment of sorts. The surface pro 4 also has a well build keyboard attachment, but you will have to buy it separately. Surface pro also includes an improved Surface Pen stylus.
The Surface Pro 4 sports a 12.3-inch screen with 267 ppi. Under its hood, it gets a 6th-generation Intel Core processor and has 16GB of RAM, 1TB storage packs a G5 chipset, reportedly designed by Microsoft. The Redmond giant also claims that it is 50% faster than Apple’s MacBook Pro.
The company has sent out invites captioned “Start fresh on a Brand New Surface” as the headline. In the invite it is mention to reserve January 7, 2016, 11:30 time slot on the schedule for the launch event. We will know more about price and availability then.
In November this year Microsoft also launched it’s two flagship phones – Lumia 950XL and Lumia 950 in India after successful launch in US in October.
