The Chinese smartphone brand, Vivo had already made headlines for itself to capture enough spotlight by introducing its slimmest smartphone, Vivo X5 Max. Now there is a dubbed variant of the same smartphone which is being called as Vivo X5 Max S. Vivo X5 Max S is not as slim as the X5 Max but is surely a more on the side of a high end smartphone. The new Vivo X5 Max S has now got TENAA certification as well which means the device is now official.
Vivo X5 Max S features full HD display of 5.5 inch with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6572 processor assisted by 2 GB of RAM. X5 Max S flaunts 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. It comes with a 13 MP rear facing auto focus primary camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing shooter as well. The phone features dual sim connectivity with 4G LTE support.

Vivo X5 Max S is expected to get launched on May 3, 2015 along with Vivo X5 Pro which is the smartphone expected to boast a retina scanner and a type C USB port. Earlier at MWC 2015, Vivo had unveiled X5 Max+ which has an octa core chipset along with 2 GB of RAM.
