Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition with 6GB RAM, 64GB Inbuilt Storage Unveiled

Xiaomi has been on a roll these days. After launching Bluetooth Audio Receiver in India yesterday, back home it has unveiled an upgraded version of its Mi Note 2 phablet. The special edition Note 2 gets memory and storage boost, while the rest of its specifications remain the same as the original one.

Specs-wise, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 boasts of a 5.7-inch full-HD OLED flexible display with 77.2 percent screen to body ratio. It comes with dual-edge curved glass on either side of the phone. Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 packs Qualcomm’s last generation beast – the Snapdragon 821 SoC. The special edition boasts of a 6GB RAM + 64GB UFS 2.0 storage combination.

For shutterbugs, there is a 22.56MP Sony IMX318 rear camera with f/2.0 aperture optics, PDAF, and EIS. It also packs 3-axis gyroscope for video stabilization as it supports up to 4K recording. Up front, it features an 8-megapixel Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor along with f/2.0 aperture lens.

It features a home button embedded fingerprint sensor along with an infrared sensor and supports all major Global LTE bands. It comes with a 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
