Xiaomi has finally launched a smartphone in India which its fans have actually been waiting for. No, it’s not Mi 5 (there is still some time for that, 1 month to be precise). It is mid-tier Redmi Note 3 which will exclusively retail on Amazon for 9,999 INR(2GB RAM/ 16GB storage) and 11,999 INR(3GB RAM/ 32GB storage). The registration for the phone starts today at 5 PM, first sale will be held on 9th March. It will be available in Dark Gray, Silver, and Champagne Gold color options. Later Xiaomi will also make it available on Flipkart, Snapdeal and even offline stores very soon.

It comes 2GB/ 3GB RAM along with 16GB / 32 GB storage options. This Qualcomm powered handset sports a 16-megapixel primary snapper with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-LED flash for photography enthusiasts. At the front, it flaunts a 5-megapixel secondary camera, just above the display, which is suitable for selfies and video chats.

Weighing at 164 grams, the Redmi Note 3 is a hybrid dual-SIM phone that supports 4G LTE on both the SIMs. The phone comes out of the box running on MIUI 7 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Redmi Note 3 comes packed with a 4050mAh battery which as per company claims support quick charging and can tank up 50 percent battery (2000mAh) in just one hour.
